Last updated: 6 April 2026  ·  Effective: 6 April 2026

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using ChefVoice you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our service.

1. Definitions

  • "ChefVoice" / "we" / "us" — the company operating the ChefVoice platform, incorporated in Ireland.
  • "Platform" — the ChefVoice website, dashboard, API, AI phone agent, and related services.
  • "Operator" — a restaurant or hospitality business that subscribes to ChefVoice.
  • "End User" — a member of the public who calls or messages a restaurant via ChefVoice.
  • "Content" — text, audio, data, and other material submitted to or generated by the Platform.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract to register for ChefVoice. By creating an account you represent that all information you provide is accurate and current. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Description of Service

ChefVoice provides AI-powered inbound call answering and messaging services for restaurants. The service:

  • Answers inbound calls to your Twilio phone number using an AI voice agent
  • Handles order enquiries, reservations, and general questions based on data you provide
  • Supports WhatsApp and Instagram messaging (where configured)
  • Provides a dashboard with call history, transcripts, and analytics

The AI agent operates based solely on information you configure. ChefVoice does not guarantee the accuracy of AI responses and restaurants remain responsible for the information they provide to the system.

4. Subscription, Fees & Payment

Access to ChefVoice requires a paid subscription. By subscribing you agree to the pricing and plan details set out at chefvoice.ai/pricing.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
  • All fees are exclusive of VAT. Irish VAT applies at the applicable rate for customers in Ireland.
  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in these Terms.
  • We may change pricing with 30 days' written notice to account holders.
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

5. Free Trial

Where a free trial is offered, it is available only once per restaurant. At the end of the trial period your account will either be cancelled or converted to a paid plan (as specified at sign-up). We reserve the right to modify or discontinue trial offers at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ChefVoice to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Transmit unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content
  • Infringe any intellectual property right of any party

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data
  • Use the service for any purpose other than legitimate restaurant operations
  • Resell or sublicense the Platform without our written consent
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for any breach of this section.

7. Operator Responsibilities

As an Operator you are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of menu, hours, pricing, and all other data you configure in ChefVoice

  • Notifying your customers that calls/messages may be answered by an AI agent
  • Obtaining any consents required under applicable telecom or messaging regulations for your jurisdiction
  • Complying with WhatsApp Business and Instagram Platform policies where those channels are enabled

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 ChefVoice IP

All rights, title, and interest in and to the ChefVoice Platform — including but not limited to the software, AI models, algorithms, interfaces, designs, logos, trademarks, trade names, domain names, and all related documentation — are and shall remain the exclusive property of ChefVoice and its licensors.

"ChefVoice" is a trademark of ChefVoice (Ireland). No right or licence to use any trademark, logo, or trade name of ChefVoice is granted under these Terms unless expressly stated.

8.2 Operator Content

You retain ownership of all Content you submit to the Platform (menus, hours, descriptions, etc.). You grant ChefVoice a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, copy, process, and display your Content solely to provide the service. This licence terminates when you delete the Content or close your account.

8.3 Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about ChefVoice ("Feedback") may be used by us freely without restriction or compensation to you. Feedback does not constitute confidential information.

8.4 Patent Notice

ChefVoice may be protected by one or more patents or pending patent applications. The Platform, including its shared AI-agent architecture, dynamic per-call variable injection system, and multi-channel (voice + messaging) routing layer, constitutes proprietary technology. Unauthorised reproduction, imitation, or exploitation of these systems is prohibited.

8.5 Copyright Notice

© 2026 ChefVoice. All rights reserved. Unauthorised copying, modification, distribution, or use of any part of this Platform without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

9. IP Infringement Claims

If you believe that any content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please notify us in writing at contact@chefvoice.net with:

  • Identification of the IP right allegedly infringed
  • Description of the infringing material and its location on the Platform
  • Your contact information
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorised
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the IP owner or authorised to act on their behalf

Similarly, if ChefVoice believes a third party is infringing our intellectual property rights, we will take appropriate legal action including cease-and-desist notices and court proceedings under Irish and EU law.

10. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to keep the other's non-public business information confidential and not to disclose it to third parties without prior written consent, except as required by law. This obligation survives termination of these Terms for 3 years.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChefVoice disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

The AI voice agent may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete responses. Restaurants are responsible for verifying that the information configured in ChefVoice is correct and up-to-date.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ChefVoice's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

ChefVoice shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by Irish law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ChefVoice and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your Content; (c) your use of the Platform; or (d) your violation of any law or third-party rights.

14. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. Operators may cancel their subscription from the dashboard; ChefVoice may terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or abuse.

Upon termination, your access to the Platform ceases. We will retain your data for 90 days post-termination to allow data export, after which it will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform and cancel your subscription before the effective date.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland, without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.

For EU consumers: the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
  • Waiver: Failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
